Prescription Refill Application
Phonologies' Prescription Refill Application is an intuitive self-service telephone based ordering system that can be deployed as a stand alone solution or in a distributed environment of a chain of stores. Using Phonologies' Prescription Refill Application, callers can:
- call the pharmacy 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,
- navigate through a "speech recognition" based menu, by answering a few easy questions, or alternatively pressing the appropriate keys on their touch-tone telephone, and,
- let the pharmacy’s system know that they need one or more prescription refills
The solution has been designed to cater to the diverse needs of various pharmacy chains, with customizable menus, link to transfer calls to back office or central call centers, option to identify doctor or physician calls versus patient calls by default, to leave a refill authorization or a message for the pharmacy staff. Automating these calls offload the pharmacist from handling routine requests like prescription refills, location directions to pharmacy, providing pickup date and time, checking the status of an order, or to allow doctors to authorize refills or new prescriptions, or cancel a prescription.
