Phonologies to participate in ClueCon 2011
Phonologies confirms participation in ClueCon 2011 to share experiences and advocate open standards in open source telephony platforms and applications.
Mumbai, India, on August 8th 2011, Phonologies, has confirmed its participation in Cluecon 2011, the annual 3-Day Open Source Telephony User and Developer Conference in Chicago, IL. Phonologies will deliver a speech titled ‘Open Standards in FreeSWITCH’, advocating the use of open standards in conjunction with open source platforms. The organizers of ClueCon 2011 (www.cluecon.com) have confirmed that Alex Kurganov, Executive Vice President of Business Development of Phonologies, a telecommunications and Internet industry veteran of over 20 years will be a speaker at the annual event. Alex will speak at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 11.
Open Standards such as VoiceXML and CCXML are main stream application development environments, and combined with open source platforms such as FreeSWITCH create a wide and ‘open’ foundation for developers to voice enable business processes by cost effectively deploying web telephony, collaboration, unified communications, speech IVR and other types of applications within the social media, contact center and other enterprise domains.
Having worked in the industry for a generation and seen the evolution of various speech and telephony standards, Alex will be sharing his perspective on open standards with a group of brilliant open source applications developers and also some of the most influential open source telephony experts likewise.
